This series of works is continued in his latest pieces, and can be seen at “Dialog mit Bildern” (Dialogue with Pictures) staged by Kunstsammlung NRW. Jean Tinguely. SUPER MeTA MAXI 23.04–14.08.2016 Museum Kunstpalast www.smkp.de In collaboration with the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Museum Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf is present- ing the oeuvre of the Swiss artist Jean Tinguely (1925–1991) in an extensive retrospective. With his kinetic objects, his playful-absurd machine sculptures, as well as his theatrical large-scale projects and actions, Tinguely succeeded time and again in transcending museal boundaries and thus had a signifi- cant formative influence on the development of art and its physical appearance after 1945.
