A Day in Düsseldorf

You are looking for an unforgettable day in Düsseldorf
on the banks of the Rhine? We'll organize an individual programme for you.

10:00 – Welcome to Düsseldorf!
We would like to welcome you by providing a guide to take you on a sightseeing tour or a guided walk for approx. 2 hours.

Should you decide on a guided walk, please make sure that your group is no larger than 25 people. Otherwise we can always provide more guides.
If you would rather go on a sightseeing tour and you are not here with your own coach, we are happy to arrange one for you of any size against a surcharge.

12:00 – Lunch at the "Im Goldenen Ring" microbrewery. (You find the menu here)
Sample typical Rhenish specialities à la carte and enjoy the flair of Düsseldorf’s Altstadt.

After lunch, you will have a choice between a boat tour and a visit up the Rhine Tower or to the Museum Kunstpalast.

- 13:30 – Boat tour (24.03.-21.10.2018)
Short walk to the Rhine followed by a 60min boat tour to the MedienHafen, etc.

- or: from 13:30 – Visit up the Rhine Tower
Stroll along the river Rhine to the MedienHafen and enjoy a stunning view of the city from the Rhine Tower, Düsseldorf’s tallest building – in clear weather you may even see the top of the Cologne Cathedral.

- or: from 13:30 – Visit to the Museum Kunstpalast

Alongside the special exhibitions that have been international sensations, the extensive collection with its permanent exhibition of art from various epochs and genres forms the heart of the museum. Paintings, sculpture, graphics, glass, crafts and new media from the Middle Ages to the present day are all on show. The highlights are the highly acclaimed Rubens Gallery, paintings by the Düsseldorf school of painters, Expressionists and Informalists, as well as works by the ZERO movement.

After your visit to the museum, why not use your spare time for a proper shopping spree on Düsseldorf’s famous Königsallee, or ‘Kö’ in short.

18:00 – Dinner at the "Zum Schlüssel" microbrewery
“Düsseldorf cold platter” with black pudding, liver sausage, minced pork, pork lard, gouda cheese, a rye bread roll and butter
