Korean, Vietnamese and Thai Restaurants

The restaurant’s name says it all because it literally means ‘Eat Bread’. It also stands for the culinary alliance between France and Vietnam: classic French baguettes (which, incidentally, made their way to Vietnam during France’s colonial era) are combined with traditional Vietnamese flavours such as lemongrass, fresh ginger, aromatic coriander and other typical ingredients. Authentic Vietnamese street food right in the middle of Flingern!

The idea behind Scaramanga’s is new: it serves a kind of Vietnamese tapas selection. The idea evolved out of the wish to let people experience the virtually infinite variety of Vietnamese cuisine. Scaramanga’s is a family business, and Mama really is doing the cooking. Everybody in the family has an inborn passion for cooking. They love fresh ingredients and authentic food: pure and unadulterated – which is why you won’t find glutamates or any other flavour enhancers at Scaramanga’s.
