Kunstarchiv Kaiserswerth
Since 2001 an old school in Düsseldorf's northern district Kaiserswerth is home to the Kunstarchiv Kaiserswerth (Kaiserswerth art archive). Under the roof of Museum Kunstpalast the archive presents works of the collector Volker Kahmen and the photo-artists Bernd and Hilla Becher.
Kahmen's collection mainly contains paintings by Bruno Goller while the Bechers’ focus lies in their pioneering "typological photography".
