In compliance with the regulations of the Corona Protection Ordinance, we have defined the following measures and precautions for our guided city tours. (12.01.2022)

2G-rule / 2G-plus rule

  1. 2G rule: 
    City tours without stopping at gastronomic establishments 
    2G-Plus rule :
    Guided city tours with stop in gastronomic establishments 
    This applies to the following tours:

    Sushi, Sake & Japanese Livestyle
    Craft Beer & Streetfood
    Beer cult(o)ur guided tour with beer package
    Altbier evening

Please do not forget 


For all our guided tours visitors must be fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid-19. You will need one of the following proofs, which will be checked on site by the tour guide:

  • - Vaccinated: Proof of vaccination, stating that the 2nd vaccination was given at least 14 days ago. 
    - Recovered: Proof of a recovery certificate, which is not allowed to be older than 6 months.
  • - 2G-plus rule: Proof of a negative individual test (rapid antigen test taken at most 24 hours beforehand, or a PCR test taken at most 48 hours beforehand).
    - Children up to school entry are exempt from the 2G rule regardless of their origin.
  • - Schoolchildren and adolescents aged six years up to and including 15 years are considered tested individuals based on their participation in mandatory school testing and are treated the same as immunized individuals. 
  • The proof of immunisation is only valid in combination with an official ID document.


From the 2 plus rules  following persons are exempt from the test obligation:

Persons with booster vaccination ( max. 3 months beforehand )
Persons with proof of infection by a PCR test within the last 3 months although they were completely immunized.


  • Schoolchildren
  • Exception holiday seasons: Proof of a negative individual test (rapid antigen test taken at most 24 hours beforehand, or a PCR test taken at most 48 hours beforehand).
  • Medical certificate
  • An exception to the 2G rule applies to adults, who have a medical certificate proving that they currently or at a maximum time of six weeks ago cannot/could not be vaccinated against Covid-19 because of health considerations. These people must have a proof of test (antigen rapid test not older than 24 hours or PCR test not older than 48 hours).

Mask regulations 

If masks are compulsory, a medical face mask (at least a so-called surgical mask) must always be worn (unless otherwise regulated locally). It is not usually required outdoors, but it is required indoors, on buses and in queues.

Hygiene requirements 
and current regulations  

– Be sure to wash and disinfect your hands regularly and thoroughly. 
– Observe the correct etiquette when coughing and sneezing (into the crook of your arm). 
Keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres to other people. 
Stay home if you have (cold) symptoms to avoid endangering others.

Tickets must be purchased in advance online, via our booking hotline or at the Tourist Information Office (please note opening hours).

  • A spontaneous ticket purchase from the tour guide is not possible!

Limited group size 

The number of participants for our guided city tours is generally limited to a maximum of 20 guests per group.
