Even the address makes literary connoisseurs sit up and take note. The bookshop Müller & Böhm is located at Bolkerstrasse 53, where in the rear part of this building the great German poet Heinrich Heine saw the light of day.
And even today, over 200 years later, everything revolves around the written word. Rudolf Müller and his wife Selinde Böhm established a meeting place for writers in 2006, surrounded by restaurants and Altbier pubs, and are the initiators of a program full of highlights. Writers such as Jürgen Habermas, Daniel Kehlmann and the Nobel Prize Winner Herta Müller were some who took the lead in the regularly held readings.
