Forum Freies Theater (FFT)

Jahnstraße 3, 40215 Düsseldorf

With a program ranging between theatre, performance, dance, fine arts and music, the Forum Free Theatre lives up to its name. The company is not least known for its avant-garde productions and works without a permanent acting ensemble.

To achieve this, FFT is connected to an international network of independent production facilities. Many of the works are produced in co-production. Previously housed in the basement of an office building on Jahnstrasse, the FFT will in the future receive its public in the former post office building at the central station. Here a cultural centre has been established, in which also the Theatermuseum Düsseldorf is located. The Juta, the young offshoot of the FFT, remains in the Wilhelm Marx Haus on the Kasernenstrasse.
