Bilker Straße 7, 40213Düsseldorf
In the backyard of the Palais Wittgenstein on the Bilker Strasse a gem of the Düsseldorf theatre landscape is located. Although only puppets are the protagonists in the Düsseldorf puppet theatre, the program is not aimed solely at young visitors.
“The satanarchäolügenialkohöllische Wunschpunsch” (Satanic arch lie and alcoholic wish punch) by Michael Ende, for example, has been listed here over a thousand times and has cult status for 8 and 88 year olds alike. There is space for almost 100 people in the theatre - a manageable size. This guarantees that every visitor can admire up close the puppets made with utmost attention to detail. Everything that can be seen on stage is created according to the designs of the founder and artistic director Anton Bachleitner.
