Julia Stoschek, a wealthy collector and icon of the international jet set, has further enriched the arts centre of Düsseldorf with the opening of a private museum. In her Stoschek Collection. Her video-art collection with over 400 works is unique in Germany.
Around 1,800 artists live in the creative ambience of the world-famous Düsseldorf Arts Academy. That's why you can always meet such famous artists as Markus Lüpertz, Günther Uecker, Heinz Mack, Andreas Gursky, Hilla Becher, Katharina Sieverding and Katharina Fritsch at opening nights and in bars and clubs.
