Culture for young people and kids

Düsseldorf’s cultural scene has loads of exciting things in store for young people and kids as well. Culture for a young audience is a hugely important element in the programmes and schedules of the Düsseldorf institutions such as the Junges Schauspielhaus, the Forum Freies Theater, the Tanzhaus NRW, the Düsseldorfer Marionetten-Theater, the Tonhalle, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Düsseldorf’s museums.

Musenkuss – a joint project between the City and Düsseldorf’s cultural institutes

"Musenkuss" (Muse’s Kiss) is a search engine for finding cultural education in Düsseldorf. On the website www.musenkuss-duesseldorf.de everybody who is interested in cultural education, from teens to parents to teachers, can get an overview of what’s available at Düsseldorf’s cultural institutions. Entries are grouped by theme, age group or dates, or you can search by category, venue or keywords. “Musenkuss” also provides the latest information about cultural education in Düsseldorf, and an overview of services offered in connection with a cultural visit.

KRASS e.V. - changing art projects, literature workshop as well as creative workshops and an artbus

In the own premises, "KRASS e.V." offers changing art projects, a literature workshop as well as creative workshops. The very own artbus drives to playgrounds in socially difficult neighborhoods and is also available for municipal events. All art offers are free of charge. As well as organizing and carrying out cultural activities and activities with the children, for example trips to museums, art exhibitions, performances and other events.
All activities are designed to actively promote artistic education and cultural education of children and young people aged between 6 and 18 years from socially weak and / or remote families. Thus "KRASS" allows the first low-threshold contact. With pleasure we also come to public (educational) institutions (info(at)krass-ev.de). For more information go to: www.krass-ev.de.
