Metro Marathon Düsseldorf
The METRO Marathon Düsseldorf on April 28th, 2019 is a always true sightseeing run: be it the Tonhalle concert hall, government palace or the trade-fair centre – the 42.195 km stretch is not only one of the fastest in Germany but also one of the most attractive.
Thus runners may take in the world-famous Königsallee, pass the modern MedienHafen with buildings by such internationally renowned star architects as Frank O. Gehry and ready themselves for the final sprint along the Rhine promenade that presents a view of the Schlossturm (palace tower) and Rhine Tower. And because the finish leads directly to the Old Town, the runners can celebrate their success with a cool "Alt" beer.
