Düsseldorf Food Tour

Detailed description
Exploring local treasures
The Düsseldorf Altstadt (Old Town) is actually one of the world’s biggest food markets. On our 3-hour guided tour we will be exploring the culinary diversity on offer in the romantic narrow streets in an area of just a few square metres. Our tour will acquaint you with the legendary “Uerige” microbrewery, you will be immersed in the aromatic world of a little spice shop, and get an insight into traditional mustard manufacture. The highlight of the tour will be a stroll through our famous weekly Carlsplatz market where we will meet market traders selling delicious products such as olive oil, wine and cheese from all over the world.
Have you always wanted to meet bakers of world renown? Or perhaps you’d like to know why Killepitsch herb liqueur is only served here “through the window”. In that case, you should join our expedition to Düsseldorf’s culinary soul. And one tip: Don’t eat too much for breakfast beforehand – because we’ll be getting little samples of the local dining culture all the way along our route. It’s a veritable feast for gourmets and other foodies.
