Detailed description

Düsseldorf is full of places whose significance can only be understood by those who know about their history. Fateful encounters took place here, crimes were planned or committed and later punished in court. We are talking about robberies on the Kö, the case of the art mediator Helge Achenbach, the Majdanek trial or the Metro fraud.

If you want to get to know these places and their stories, you should come along on our True Crime city tour. You will meet Christian Herrendorf and Hans Onkelbach - two Düsseldorf journalists who have known the city and its many stories for many years. Even the criminal ones. Along the way, the two will tell you what happened, where and why. We promise you a lot of suspense, but also fun. Because the crimes are sometimes also part of bizarre comedies that could actually only happen in Düsseldorf.

Christian Herrendorf and Hans Onkelbach are experienced journalists and editorial directors. In early 2021, they co-founded the online newspaper VierNull, which offers well-researched and written stories from Düsseldorf - and a true-crime podcast called "Kohle, Knast und Kaviar" ("Coal, Jail and Caviar")
