Interesting facts:

The building was pulled down in 1982-1984 to make place for the Underground and was re-erected at a position 23 m further back, preserving the Art Nouveau facade. It is now a department store for luxury and semi-luxury articles.

In front of the main entrance is the reconstruction of a music pavillon that had to be demolished when the Wilhelm-Marx-House was built.
