10:30 – Welcome to Düsseldorf!
We would like to welcome you by providing a guide to take you on a sightseeing tour or a guided walk for approx. 2 hours.

Should you decide on a guided walk, please make sure that your group is no larger than 25 people. Otherwise we can always provide more guides.
If you would rather go on a sightseeing tour and you are not here with your own coach, we are happy to arrange one for you of any size against a surcharge.

12:30 – Lunch at the "Zum Schlüssel" microbrewery.
Sample typical Rhenish specialities à la carte and enjoy the flair of Düsseldorf’s Altstadt.

After lunch, you will have a choice between a boat tour and a visit up the Rhine Tower or to the Museum Kunstpalast.

- 14:00 –
Boat tour (06.04.-21.10.2012)
Short walk to the Rhine followed by a 60min boat tour to the MedienHafen, etc.

- or: from 14:00 – Visit up the Rhine Tower
Stroll along the river Rhine to the MedienHafen and enjoy a stunning view of the city from the Rhine Tower, Düsseldorf’s tallest building – in clear weather you may even see the top of the Cologne Cathedral.

- or: from 14:00 – Visit to the Museum Kunstpalast
Alongside a vast number of exhibition projects, it is the permanent collection that forms the heart of the Museum Kunstpalast. After years of renovation, the collection was finally reopened in May 2011 and now captivates visitors with a new, chronological hang. On display are paintings, sculptures, graphic art, glass, arts and crafts, and new media from the Middle Ages through to modernism. A special highlight is the prominent Rubens Gallery and the segmented “Light Room” produced by the artist group ZERO.
Our tip: from February 2012, admission to the collection is free on Tuesdays!

After your visit to the museum, why not use your spare time for a proper shopping spree on Düsseldorf’s famous Königsallee, or ‘Kö’ in short.
