The home of the Düsseldorfer Marionetten-Theater is in Düsseldorf's Carlstadt quarter, at the magnificent Palais Wittgenstein.

The small, intimate theatre can seat 100 persons. Visitors are greeted by fabulous creatures carved in wood as soon as they enter the lobby. When the curtain rises, the wooden ensemble leads their audience into a world of fantasy.

The repertoire is versatile and aims to address above all adults and - depending on the production - children from 8 years onwards with its fables, fairy tales, dramas and classical and modern musical theatre.
